A modular lens made of high-quality hydrophobic acrylic. A solution for predictable postoperative refractive correction.
The lens consists of two independent components. Supporting component (haptic): A permanent implant that remains in the capsular bag for life. Minimises surgical trauma during repeat procedures. Optical component (disc): An exchangeable element that allows the optical power to be changed without removing the supporting structure. _____________________________ Size: ForeSight-11: Overall diameter: 11.0 mm. For children under 1–2 years of age and patients with a small corneal diameter (<10 mm). ForeSight-13: Overall diameter: 13.0 mm. For adults and children over 1–2 years of age with normal anterior segment dimensions. ForeSight-Disk: Exchangeable optical disc designed for replacement of the optic only in previously implanted modular systems. Diameter: 5.5 mm. Haptic design (no angulation): Monolithic S-shaped haptic. Optical power range: 0 to +50 D, in 0.5 D increments up to +30 D and 1.0 D increments above +31 D. A-constant: 117.3
