Patients in Europe Receive Custom-made Artificial Iris Implants

Over the past months, our team has successfully delivered and supported the implantation of three custom-made artificial iris implants with the optical part for patients in different European countries. Each implant was manufactured for a specific patient, addressing complex clinical needs where other treatment options were limited or unavailable.

As patient-specific medical devices, these implants were supplied in accordance with the framework for custom-made devices under Annex XIII of the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR), in close cooperation with our European partners, surgeons and healthcare institutions.

We are deeply grateful to the ophthalmic surgeons and clinical partners who made these cases possible through international collaboration and trust.
